Most of the State Park Ramps, like the main ramp at the Shady Creek Area shown here, have been impacted by the nearly 5 foot raise in water levels.  Launching, although not impossible, is more difficult as the slope of the ramps has been reduced as the water levels have risen.

The Shady Creek Area 1 Boat Ramp offers the best boat launching during this period of high water.

This rod and reel covered with zebra mussels was caught this Spring by a fisherman at El Dorado Reservoir.  Please follow the recommended zebra mussel control precautions before leaving El Dorado Reservoir.
