Bluffs at Goose Flats Camp Grounds

Unique natural areas where the outcrops of the niobrara formation meet the waters edge exists along the campgrounds of the Goose Flats and Lakeview areas at Webster Reservoir. These outcrops contain numerous fossils of marine clams which lived during the Cretaceous period (145 to 65 million years ago).

Located in the central flyway, Webster Reservoir is a stopping place for many species of waterfowl and shorebirds and offers excellent opportunities for outdoor enthusiasts for hunting, viewing and photography.

Lakeview Shoreline - Webster Reservoir

The shoreline at the lakeview area is an outcropping of niobrara formation that contains numerous fossils of marine clams. These outcroppings around the lake offer great areas for fishing and exploring the shoreline.
