Crawford First Day Hike 2026

Kick off the New Year with a refreshing First Day Hike at the beautiful Crawford State Park.

Hike starts at 9pm.

Hike will be 2.3 miles long. Hike will start at the Beach Shelter.

Leashed pets are welcome.

Participants are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to be donated to our local food bank.

24th Annual Fall River Rendezvous

Step back to 1826, a time with the mountain man and the American Indians walked the recently purchased Louisiana Purchase. A time when Lewis and Clark had finished their exploration, and others were wanting to follow in their footsteps. The event interprets 1800-1840 with a traditional rendezvous when Mountain Men and American Indians camped together to trade for needed supplies from the fur companies. Activities may include Indian and Mountain Men Encampments, Historical Traders, Reenactors Blackpowder Shoot, Tomahawk Throw, Skillet Throw for the Ladies, and a Kids Gold Rush. Come out to Fall River State Park and step back to 1826.  This event celebrates National Public Lands Day - with FREE entrance to Fall River State Park.
