Use a jig, spinner, or imitation shad on channel breaks and deep holes in river and Walnut Creek. Watch for water inflow to trigger spawn on riffles.

Use a jig or minnow around brush piles and standing timber in Toronto Point Cove, north side of Duck Island, and Manns Cove. The water temperature is in the mid 50's. Crappie won't move to shallow water until it in the low 60's.
